These handy straps hook onto the duffel to turn it into a backpack for longer carry/airline carry, or classic duffel carry.
Shoulder Strap Mode
Pull the hidden shoulder strap out of one of the backpack straps. Anchor it to the corner bag anchors for shoulder strap carry.
Note - only one of the backpack straps turns into a longer shoulder sling.

I mainly use my duffle without the backpack straps but recently tried flying with the duffel across the country. The straps were super comfy and worked great as I walked around NYC.
They also attach/detach super easy.
