From a renewable resource, and very handy for travel. I keep this one in the TSA pouch, as my backup. It's always a backup if I something happens to my main toothbrush--which is electric--and also I sometimes use it during work because I leave the toiletry bag hung on a hook near the sink in the bathroom, but I sometimes have to share a room with someone, each of us working 12 hours, so when I am working, my toiletry bag is inaccessible. I keep the pouch outside of the shared room, and I can still keep up good dental hygiene.
