Gravel Travel blanket is excellent for long distance through-hikes in mild weather. It is exactly what I have been searching for least that I have found!

I saw a lot of these blankets when I did the Camino de Santiago last year. Now I know why! I will be taking my own on my next Camino this year.

This is the only reasonably-priced ultralight blanket on the market— six months.

It does an excellent job keeping in your body heat. Depending on your physical stature, you may be able to double this over (I can and do. I’m a 5’5” small to medium framed female) for extra warmth during cooler temps.

The snaps are key and work well. They allow you to position the blanket however you need around your body and have it stay there securely. It’s also a great camp blanket to wear as a cape , shawl, or lap blanket when sitting outside in the evening before bed.

A easy way to make this ultralight blanket work in temps a few degrees cooler than for what it is designed is to simply add a silk liner. Doing that adds at least 10° of warmth, and maintains an extremely lightweight, well packed set up that weighs little and takes up little room in the pack.

I’ve been very surprised, also, by how much I use this blanket as a lap blanket around home:)

I did not expected that the blanket so thin is, and still it so warm in it.

I bought two of them.

My wife uses it in the car many times. I put my in the car too. It is very small then packed and every time to your hand.
